The following use Catalan as well:
    Barcelona
    Valencia
    Alicante

All the rest are Spanish only.

In Marbella everyone answers you in English.

p.s. Sorry Xavi! I forgot your dialect! (Only joking)

    Except Pamplona is bi-lingal…

street signs are in Basque & Castellano…
you’ll hear Basque as much as Castellano

-_- if your going to insult me… at least can everyone on here spell Xabi xD ni naiz euskaldun… it is a Basque name with Basque spelling xD or write Jaiver instead jejejeje

    and I think 5, and 9.

Go to Sevilla. Once you can understand the people there, you’ll be able to understand ANYONE who speaks Spanish, and it’s a big enough city to make travel to other parts easy.

Granada is an enchanting city as well, but less of a travel hub.

Of course, people may comment on your accent sometimes, if you really pick it up!

Catalan and Castellano are official languages in:
    Barcelona
    Valencia
    alicante

Basque and Castellano are the official languages in:
    Pamplona

Salamanca – while Castellano is the official language, many schools are now teaching the Leonese dialect.

For the rest it’s mainly Castellano.
